Owner Patrick Connolly has been in the nightclub industry for over 16 years. It was while working in this business that Pat first wanted to become an entertainer. In 1997 a DJ friend of Pat's offered him the valuable training he needed to become a DJ himself. Pat seized the opportunity.

In 1999 a mobile DJ performed at his wedding reception, which completely changed Pat's approach to creative entertainment. Even though Pat knew how to rock a party, he knew little about entertaining weddings; he decided to include them in his portfolio. It was not long after that Pat became acquainted with a well known San Diego DJ who always wanted to work in the clubs. Pat made the DJ a deal. He would show him how to run a successful nightclub operation, and in return he would be shown the art of entertaining a wedding reception.

Since then, DJ Pat has enthusiastically entertained thousands all over San Diego County and various parts of Southern California at between 100 to 120 shows a year. With his good natured attitude, sense of humor, attention to detail and a true love for his work, Pat continually strives to impress, entertain, and amaze everywhere he goes.

Sound Prodigy’s winning philosophy is a simple one; “ We would rather have one customer 100 times that 100 customers once.” It is with this professional attitude that Sound Prodigy continues to earn return business and many referrals.
